Shell has joined TotalEnergies as the biggest winners from Qatar’s LNG expansion projects. The UK-listed major scooped up a 9.375% stake in the North Field South (NFS) second phase expansion of Qatar’s LNG expansion project.
A total of 25% of NFS is up for grabs, and with TotalEnergies previously awarded a 9.375% stake (MEES, 30 September), there is now just 6.25% left to be awarded. A signing ceremony is scheduled for 30 October, which should see QatarEnergy complete its partner selection process. (CONTINUED - 366 WORDS)
