Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has commissioned the construction of two long-delayed gas pipelines that will boost volumes available for domestic power generation. Perhaps more importantly, the work will bring the KRG’s gas pipelines to within 35km of the Turkish border, reigniting the long-stalled dream of gas exports.
