Eni’s recently-released 2021 report details ongoing remedial action to counter water infiltration at its flagship Zohr gas field in Egypt’s deepwater Mediterranean.
Last year saw “EPCI [Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation] activities for the construction of new submarine facilities and two additional treatment units with a capacity of 6,000 b/d to manage and recovery production water,” whilst “the construction of further three units with a capacity of 9,000 b/d is being studied.” (CONTINUED - 443 WORDS)
