Greek firm Energean says its 8bcm/y (780mn cfd) capacity Energean Power FPSO has set sail from the shipyard in Singapore, en route to Israel where it will be moored above the firm’s 1.4tcf Karish gas field, 90km offshore. Energean says Karish remains on track for first gas in Q3 this year.
With a 15-year 0.8bcm/y deal with power plant operator Dalia seemingly scrapped (MEES, 1 April), Energean has been working hard to ink new deals enabling it to rapidly ramp up production. (CONTINUED - 356 WORDS)
