Libya’s oil output has hit 1mn b/d, NOC announced on 26 July. The state firm, which has been under new management since the ouster of long-time chairman Mustafa Sanalla (MEES, 22 July), previously announced production of 860,000 b/d on 23 July. New NOC boss Farhat Bengdara says the country is targeting a further ramp-up to 1.2mn b/d within two weeks.
