Chevron, operator of Cyprus’ 4.1tcf Aphrodite field, is planning to drill a third well at the field in Q1 next year, Cyprus Energy Minister Natasa Pilides and Chevron regional chief Clay Neff revealed in a joint press conference on 21 July in Nicosia.
“We’re planning for drilling in the first quarter of next year having expedited all of the processes for securing the drillship and other procurement processes,” Ms Pilides tells MEES. (CONTINUED - 2050 WORDS)
