Oman LNG on 22 November announced the signing of a 1mn t/y LNG sales deal with BP for 9 years from 2026. The volumes appear to be destination-free with the deal dovetailing with the expiry of an 8-year 1mn t/y agreement with BP Singapore (MEES, 4 May).
The deal follows Oman LNG’s 18-month campaign to market volumes unlocked by debottlenecking work finished in 2023 (MEES, 1 September). As a result, capacity at the firm’s three train facility rose from 10.4mn t/y to 11.4mn t/y. (CONTINUED - 165 WORDS)
