Israel is cementing its position as a significant regional gas producer and exporter.
Latest figures show that the country’s output rose by 13% to a record 21.93bcm (2.122bn cfd) for 2022. Output from the 23tcf Leviathan field was up 6% at a record 11.40bcm (1.103bn cfd), whilst production from the 13tcf Tamar field rose 18% to a three-year high 10.25bcm (992mn cfd). The 1.4tcf Karsh field, which started up at the end of October, chipped in 0.28bcm (27mn cfd see chart 1). (CONTINUED - 698 WORDS)
