*Brazil’s deepwater ‘pre-salt’ is seen as providing a key element of global oil output growth over the coming years. For 2023 the IEA sees Brazil output growth of 420,000 b/d second only to the USA where latest official US projections have output growing by 860,000 b/d (MEES, 10 February).
