Egyptian independent Cheiron says it anticipates output from its Geisum and Tawila West concession, located in the southern portion of the Gulf of Suez, will rise to more than 25,000 b/d following the start-up of an early production facility (EPF) at the GNN field.
Cheiron announced on 27 March that GNN-6, the first well to be hooked up to the EPF, is producing at 4,200 b/d. Two further wells, GNN-3 and GNN-8, will be tied in over the coming weeks.
