Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals has launched its 2023 bid round with an initial three onshore blocks in ‘Batch 1’ to be followed in Q2 by an offshore-focused ‘Batch 2’.
The three Batch 1 blocks had all been recently relinquished by previous operators. Block 15 is located in northern Oman, 250km west of Muscat, Block 54 is in central Oman on the east coast, while Block 36 is in the far south-west and borders Yemen and Saudi Arabia. (CONTINUED - 694 WORDS)
