Speaking in Doha on 23 May at the Qatar Economic Forum, Iraq’s Oil Minister Hayan Abdulghani said that the country’s sixth licensing round is due to launched soon. Investors will be provided with details within the next 4-6 weeks on the licensing round, which will mainly cover fields along the Syrian and Saudi borders.
