The OQ Gas Networks (OQGN) subsidiary of Oman state oil & gas firm OQ is pushing ahead with expanding the sultanate’s gas transportation network. Key ongoing and upcoming projects will boost LNG export capacity and supply gas to the region’s first LNG bunkering facility. Beyond this, hydrogen-focused expansion is also planned.
The 18 September prospectus for the planned flotation of 49% of OQGN on the Muscat exchange (MEES, 22 September) details a series of underway or planned projects to expand the capacity of pipelines to meet existing and upcoming gas-fed projects along the sultanate’s coast. (CONTINUED - 1066 WORDS)
