Oman state-entity Hydrom has stepped up the marketing of its second round of public land block auctions for green hydrogen developments with a public call to energy companies and an in-person presentation in Riyadh. The presentation, held on 6 September, sought to drum up interest and investment from public and private sector representatives for its ongoing second bidding round.
Phase A Round 2 of Hydrom’s green hydrogen auctions is offering three land blocks in the southern governorate of Dhofar ranging from 340-400km2. The company said it is accepting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) until 8 October, following which bid submissions will be accepted and final awards announced by the end of Q1 2024.
