*Egypt’s gas output continued its downward trajectory in October, slumping to a seven and a half year low 4.494bn cfd, while oil output, having edged higher in September, fell again to 541,000 b/d for October, only fractionally above August’s 45-year low of 536,000 b/d.
*Gas output has been on a clear downward trajectory since peaking at 7.193bn cfd in September 2021 with losses of almost 1bn cfd over the last year alone (see chart).
