Key East Med operator Eni (50%op) and partner TotalEnergies (50%) on 15 February announced “the successful completion of the Cronos-2 well, drilled to appraise the Cronos discovery in Block 6, offshore Cyprus.”
Having first announced Cronos as a 2.5tcf find in August 2022 (MEES, 12 August 2022), Eni says a “full and prolonged production test proved the excellent gas deliverability capacity of the discovery” and “allowed for the estimation of a well production capacity in excess of 150mn cfd in production configuration.” (CONTINUED - 787 WORDS)
