UK major Shell has made it two out of three with its ongoing drilling campaign off Egypt’s Nile Delta.
The Khufu-1 wildcat in 1,300ms water depth on the North East El Amriya block has struck gas, adding to the modest 0.5tcf Mina West made last year in 250ms water depth 40km to the south (MEES, 24 November 2023).
