Severe winter storms knocked 760,000 b/d off US crude output for January with NGLs output down by 510,000 b/d to leave total liquids output at 18.59mn b/d (12.53mn b/d crude, 6.06mn b/d NGLs). Wellhead gas output fell from December’s record 129.0bn cfd to 124.6bn cfd for January.
According to revised data in the EIA’s latest Petroleum Supply Monthly, December crude output of 13.295mn b/d was dead level with the all-time high set the previous month, whilst total liquids output of 19.83mn b/d for December was down almost 200,000 b/d versus November’s record 20.06mn b/d.
