Suez Canal revenues fell to a 14-year low of $343mn for February, the lowest figure since February 2010 and little more than a third of the record monthly figure of $945mn hit in May 2023.

Net tonnage of 45.7mn for February was also just a third of last May’s record 143mn for the lowest figure in the MEES database going back to the start of 2008. As was the 375 oil tankers that transited the canal in February. (CONTINUED - 168 WORDS)
