Libya’s Administrative Control Authority (ACA) has reportedly reinstated Mohamed Aoun as oil minister, six weeks after he was suspended “pending investigation” into unspecified violations (MEES, 5 April).
According to a leaked document dated 12 May and seen by local media, the oversight agency lifted its temporary suspension of Mr Aoun “to ensure the [smooth] functioning of work [at the ministry].” However, no official announcement has been made to date. (CONTINUED - 288 WORDS)
