Italy’s Maire Tecnimont in partnership with US firm Baker Hughes on 23 May announced they had won a $2.3bn EPC contract from Algerian state firm Sonatrach “for the implementation of three gas boosting stations and the upgrading of the gathering system, located at the Hassi R’Mel gas field.”
