The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) will allow Russia to establish a “supply point” on the Red Sea in exchange for “vital weapons and munitions,” deputy commander General Yasser al-Atta said in an interview with the Riyadh-based al-Hadath TV channel on 25 May.
“With Russia, we proposed military cooperation, or they proposed military cooperation, in exchange for an urgent supply and ammunition point,” he said. They also agreed on economic cooperation in other areas like “agriculture, mining, gold, ports, and manufacturing,” he added. (CONTINUED - 963 WORDS)
