In the three months since the March sinking of the Rubymar and the fatal attack on the True Confidence (MEES, 8 March), Houthi attacks in the Red Sea have continued to destabilize trade. The few ships that still pass through the Bab al-Mandeb and the Suez Canal continue to be targets of repeated attacks.

Just this week the Houthis struck the Greek-owned coal carrier Tutor (IMO: 9942627) on 12 June with a drone boat and missile causing it to take on water. The following day two projectiles hit the cargo ship Verbena (IMO: 9522075) travelling from Malaysia to Italy, causing a fire onboard and severely injuring a crew member. (CONTINUED - 829 WORDS)
