Saudi Aramco announced on 7 June that following the completion of the bookbuilding process, the final offer price for its secondary public offering of 1.545bn shares (0.63% of issued shares) is SAR27.25/share ($7.27/share). This is towards the lower end of the price range announced on 30 May (MEES, 31 May), and will raise $11.2bn for the government. An additional ‘greenshoe’ option could raise another $1.1bn if taken, bringing the total to $12.3bn. Shares are due to begin trading on the Tadawul on 9 June.
