Panel installation at both of Qatar’s ongoing solar projects, at the industrial hubs of Ras Laffan and Mesaieed is now complete, latest satellite imagery indicates. When fully connected to the grid the plants will add 875MW to Qatar’s installed capacity, more than doubling the total to 1.675GW.
Work has been rapid at both sites. Site clearance began in March of last year, with panel installation beginning in October. (CONTINUED - 602 WORDS)
