Iraq’s state-owned Oil Exploration Co (OEC) has been signed up to shoot seismic by two of the country’s foreign operators.
Chinese independent Geo-Jade on 30 June contracted OEC to shoot 770km of 2D seismic followed by 700km2 of 3D seismic on its Naft Khana block in Diyala province, the contract for which was finalized in early 2023 after award five years earlier (MEES, 24 February 2023). (CONTINUED - 134 WORDS)
