Australian engineering firm Worley says in its freshly-released 2024 report that it and Moroccan fertilizers giant OCP are moving ahead with plans to produce 1mn t/y of green ammonia by 2027.
In the report, released on 27 August alongside its results for y/e 30 June, Worley says “the world’s first Power-to-X green ammonia program in Morocco” which it costs at $7bn will turn Morocco into a “global hydrogen hub” and form the key element of the $12bn 2023-27 “Green Investment Program” of Moroccan state fertilizers giant OCP.
