Oman LNG has signed up to supply Thai state firm PTT with 300,000 t/y of LNG over five years from 2025, according to the Bangkok Post.

This follows a ten-year 800,000 t/y agreement signed at the beginning of last year, which is set to start in 2026 (MEES, 20 January 2023). The Thai state firm’s upstream subsidiary PTTEP holds a 2% stake in state-led Oman LNG, which recently announced plans to increase its total liquefaction capacity from 11.4mn t/y to 15.2mn t/y with a fourth train (MEES, 2 August).
