Iran’s new oil minister Mohsen Paknejad has re-shuffled leadership at the oil and gas sector’s top two state-owned firms, National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC). Hamid Boord was appointed new NIOC CEO on 29 August, replacing Mohsen Khojastehmehr, whilst Saeed Tavakoli replaced Majid Chegani at NIGC on 1 September.
Mr Boord has served as CEO of various NIOC subsidiaries including Maron Oil and Gas, National Iranian South Oilfields, and Iranian Offshore Oil. (CONTINUED - 154 WORDS)
