Oman’s 500MW Manah I & II solar plants are both officially online, according to state offtaker Nama PWP. The company confirmed to MEES “both are injecting electricity into the grid” after it held a 20 January inauguration. Singapore’s Sembcorp, developer of Manah II, announced start-up late last year (MEES, 3 January), whilst Manah I developers France’s EdF and Korea Western Power, had said commercial operations would begin this quarter.
