Oman’s combined crude and condensate output fell 5% to 996,000 b/d in 2024, its lowest level since 2021’s 971,000 b/d, according to freshly released government data. This is hardly a surprise given Opec+ crude output constraints. Crude output was down 6% at 762,000 b/d.

In contrast, condensate output edged up 1,000 b/d to 234,000 b/d, a new all-time high. Oman’s condensate output is in part a byproduct of gas, output of which surged 5% to a record 5.46bn cfd for 2024 (MEES, 24 January). (CONTINUED - 150 WORDS)
