Having announced first gas at the end of 2024 (MEES, 3 January) and first LNG production on 10 February, US independent Kosmos says that the 2.45mn t/y Tortue LNG project on the Mauritania-Senegal maritime border is “about to ship its first cargo” on the British Sponsor LNG carrier of operator BP.

Kosmos says it expects two cargoes to sail by the end of March, and 25 by the end of 2025, for implied total 2025 volumes of around 1.9mn tons. (CONTINUED - 834 WORDS)
